FROM SCHOOLMATES TO SOULMATES

It all began in 2016, within the walls of our school.
We were part of the same group — partners in bunking classes and spending endless hours at the PlayStation. He was always the mischievous one, teasing and poking fun and I was always the one getting annoyed.

​

But life had other plans. With different paths of study, we drifted apart. Our meetings became rare — a quick hello at weddings, a smile at the gym — yet the bond we once shared quietly lingered.

Then came 2025 — the year destiny brought us back together. Meeting again felt like stepping back in time. Nervous smiles turned into endless laughter, long gedi rides and conversations that had nothing to do with marriage, yet everything to do with the innocence of our school days. In those moments, we found clarity — and with hearts full of certainty, we said yes to each other.

Since 20th April, not a single day has passed without thoughts of one another. For him, I (Palak) became his greatest motivation. For me, he (Pranav) became the comfort of home.

Together, we’ve found joy in the little things — cozy movie nights, endless and long drives filled with music, laughter and heart-to-heart conversations. sharing sushi and stone bowls, laughing over our food debates (he’s all about international flavors, I’ll always pick my Indian favorites) and smiling at how much he loves the Thai curry I make. 

 

And today, that journey brings us here — to the beginning of forever.
